  1. Okay... I’ve just sent an application to #extrudr. Wish me luck! 😃

  3. I now made inline filament clips for spools from #Extrudr, #BambuLab and #3dkberlin

Would love to hear some feedback.

Funny how that started, just because I wanted to fix someone else's model, but that guy sadly (or fortunately? :-) did now answer my request to change away from Makerworlds restrictive default license. So I just made my own parametric and hopefully much better and versatile version.

  4. YET another update for my #Extrudr Spools Filament Clip.

who knew, Extrudr had so many different "size S" spools. 😅 Guess they switch around to whatever is still in storage.

Made a list of the different variants I could find and a clip for each.

    Boost if you like.

  5. #DIY #go game: done 😊

Originally a long thick wooden board, which I cut. After laser engraving go-board lines, polishing and lacquering, I assembled the halves with two hinges.

Those made for good feet in the middle, but still missing were spacers of the same height at the corners, so I designed some to #3dprint.

The bowls are JeremyToutain's #freecad project I could adjust the parameters on and print in #Extrudr WOOD.

Printing the stones took quite a while.

  11. @Natanox thanks for pointing my attention at PHA! The only PHA i could find was from Colorfabb (colorfabb.com/de/allpha-natura) and it isn't even that expensive. Something regarding #extrudr ASA: The #3djake ASA is nearly as good as the extruder one, but cheaper, so I tend to use/buy that, especially during Black Friday or on the 3djake sale events, when it goes below 20€/kg

  12. This is how it looks like without the video compression. (And also, immediately after charging it up with a bright light.)

  13. I printed my custom glow in the dark and black dual color filament by printing an 1.75 mm spiral, changing color during print. Then printed Snorlax with it.

It is 8 layers of glow in the dark PETG and then 3 layers of black PETG. (A bit more details here: mastodon.social/@gheja/1113202 )

    Printer: Creality Ender 3 Pro
Filament: Extrudr Glow in the Dark PETG + 3DJake Black PETG.

  14. @jeff I print mostly PLA. Lately I like marble PLA, the particles hide the layer lines quite well. For more "mechanical" prints I like the #extrudr materials. They do also have PLAs that withstand higher temperatures in case you need that at some point. For the beginning the best prints are improvements for the printer (like tool holder and so on).

Later I convinced my wife that the printer was a good idea by designing and printing some repairs to household stuff. 😉
