@Natanox thanks for pointing my attention at PHA! The only PHA i could find was from Colorfabb (https://colorfabb.com/de/allpha-natural) and it isn't even that expensive. Something regarding #extrudr ASA: The #3djake ASA is nearly as good as the extruder one, but cheaper, so I tend to use/buy that, especially during Black Friday or on the 3djake sale events, when it goes below 20€/kg

I was looking to replace my cheap #Anycubic #Kobra 2 with a #BambuLab #P1S with AMS, until I read the many horror stories about using #PETG on the P1S (or any Bambu Lab printer, really).

PETG is what I use exclusively (strength vs budget friendliness vs easy-of-use), and the Kobra has no issues with it. I use #3DJake PETG and I can't be bothered to dry it, ever. Always prints fine at 225°C/80°C.

Any P1S users out there that get consistently good results with PETG without too much hassle? Or is there perhaps an alternative that's as easy to use as PETG? I'm mostly looking for impact strength.

Bambu Lab has even discontinued their own PETG "Basic” 🤨

If you're planning on ordering at #3djake, then make sure to order at 3djake.com, NOT ON 3djake.de, as their .com is cheaper. Not by much, but by something and you don't get any disadvantages. Same delivery, same warehouse.

I printed my custom glow in the dark and black dual color filament by printing an 1.75 mm spiral, changing color during print. Then printed Snorlax with it.

It is 8 layers of glow in the dark PETG and then 3 layers of black PETG. (A bit more details here: https://mastodon.social/@gheja/111320213704156363 )

@Hasecaesar Jupp, mal #3djake angeschrieben, mit Fotos. Ich bin gespannt, was da zurückkommt.

Ich hatte ja vor einiger Zeit schon geschrieben, dass mir ein Druck versemmelt wurde. Heute schon wieder. Und es brach sogar, als ich wieder einfädeln wollte.

Der Biegeradius ist ja nun enger. Irgendwie hat es damit zu tun.

Nach 24 Stunden Druck von #3dJake ecoPLA auf die erste PLA-Spule von #Aurapol gewechselt. 12 Stunden später der erste Vergleich: Läuft super, faktisch kein Unterschied feststellbar. Wicklung ist auch bilderbuchmäßig.
Ersteindruck: Kann man gut verwenden. #3dPrint

I really liked the Parrot dual-color filament so I played a bit with it, it turns out Hilbert curve top and bottom finish looks so great with it!
