Finally got my copy of #break!!! through, the #osr anime #ttrpg that's been in development for like a thousand years. Like #ecomofos that I mentioned yesterday it makes lovely use of colour and illustration inside the book, so it's a pleasure to read. It's a lot thicker of a book so this is even more important (really jam packed with detail and setting this one).

Got my copy of #ecomofos #ttrpg through today. This is a really well-produced book - the art and colours pop but don't take over the whole experience. Oh the game seems fun as well :D good take on the ITO/EB base with lots of interesting PCs in a dangerous yet hopeful weird post-apoc environment, loads of tables and procgen advice, consistent theme.
Sorry but I still don't like the name though.

The #EcoMofos kickstarter is almost over if anyone was on the fence about it. I just upgraded my pledge to the hardcover rulebook, which I've been on the fence about for the whole campaign. It's expensive, but I really want to use this to run #UVG 2e, which I also have the hardback for, so it seemed appropriate

I know my wallet has been getting a workout lately with all the amazing indie TTRPGs getting crowdsourced, but one I am *REALLY* looking forward to is Eco Mofos by @LostEons, a “weirdhope” post-post-apocalyptic mutant-infused ecopunk Mark of the Odd hack.
Even in its rough beta stages it is just packed with delicious goodness and is a wonderful antidote to the glut of grimdark games out there.

When using a sniper that can one-shot a player, remember to give the players some clues. A sniper is more akin to a trap than to a regular enemy. Tell them about dead rabits, around the motel, something briefly shining in the watertower, a human shadow with a long arm up there, even the famous red dot of death: make them play San & Frodo in Mordor.

A kid with psychic powers has been abducted by the corpo backed White Trenchcoat Mafia and they have fortified themselves on the derelict Motel 77 "Motel, Gas Station, Swimming Oool & Seafood Buffet". The kid is rumored to have seen a glade in their prophetic visions, also, it is said that it may be wise to skip the seafood buffet.
