Seems early, but I am feeling sleepy.
I changed all 4 wheels on the van, one tire was at wear marks, in the front & back. Likely the oldest ones rotated.
Swapped them, removed a seized rim on another car, found brake line break on my wife's car, and put away my tools.
My neighbour's brakes are next

Gives you a lot of ways for the players to make meaningful exploration decisions:
* Sound of dripping in one direction
* Old broken pipes - follow them downhill
* Creatures in the dungeon need water so track them to their lair.
* ...but undead do not, so avoid them (but they might guard more treasure...)
* ...and amphibious creatures (e.g. huge frog) must have lots somewhere, if you dare go near them.
* Wells lead you to water, but also much deeper in -

A dungeon where water is more important than gold - at least for several days of adventuring - seems really fun to me.

Someone said that “if you can run Keep on the Borderlands with it, it’s OSR”.
I’m pretty sure that’s not true. I of course immediately tried to think of the most story game way to run B2. My first thought is reverse B2 using No Country for Old Kobolds.
What’s the most indie way you would run the classic Keep on the Borderlands?
