elswhere i've mentioned that i didn't like the "dark" theme applied to apps which can "go either way" so to speak.
i reckon, it probably has to do with this setting:
it's been a while since i dedicated myself to really using the KDE/ Plasma setup. they don't all have so many options. i'd been using #cinnamondesktop for quite some time. it's kinda cool the way the themes work on there. i'd be happy w/ something more simplistic like that for Plasma. anyone?
for now imma try this "SimplicityTurquoise" to see if it makes my "go both ways" apps turn light.
And what is this KVantum ? seems like i'd never seen that before. seems just more ways to conf the window/forms/widgets. not my area of educated wonderment.

@vyskocilm @opensuse For those who don't remember when openSUSE was at its dark green best: openSUSE 11.2 with the Sonar theme.

It had dark menu bars, mid-grey widgets with a hint of green, and green accent 😍

All we need now is the ability to change the main widget colour (to darken to a mid-ish grey) and the ability change the header bar colour (to make it dark) and we'd have loads of control for really nice theming built-in to Gnome!
