Das mit dem Master/Slave ist schon bissl länger her. Mittlerweile ist man wohl auf Client/Server umgestiegen. Aber ob das immer so passend ist?
Verrückt wird es eigentlich wenn der Admin/Programmierer nur seinen Job macht, nix Böses dabei denkt und plötzlich kommt die Moralpolizei daher.
Ich frage mich dann nur immer:" Wat denn nu schon wieder los?".

Das erinnert mich irgendwie an die Diskussion für ein Monats-Ticket, mit dem man für'n Fuffi quer durch Republik fahren kann.
Die am lautesten über Preis schimpfen haben wahrscheinlich noch garnicht angefangen Steuern zu zahlen, geschweige sich überhaupt mal ein Ticket gekauft.

Wir hatten schon einmal GiroPay/Paydirect und es gab nur wenig Möglichkeiten diesen Dienst zu nutzen. Hinter Girocard verbirgt sich Visa oder Mastercard.
Die Idee vom digitalen € und vielleicht Wero ist ja fein. Nur werden sie nicht konsequent umgesetzt sind sie zum scheitern verurteilt.
Mit Einführung müssten die europäischen Banken in die Pflicht genommen werden dies durchzusetzen. Sonst wird sich nichts ändern.

So schnell wird sich da auch nichts ändern. Bspw. in unserer Stadt stammen die meisten Mietshäuser aus den 50er-60er Jahren. Hier wird vorwiegend über Klingeldraht kommuniziert und das wird auch so bleiben. Und die Kabelnetze sind hier im Vergleich hoffnungslos überbucht.
Modernisierungen sind aufwendig und teuer. Zumindest FDDB soll nun irgendwann umgesetzt werden. Die Leitungen dafür liegen ja schon in den Kellern. -

So etwas konnte man sich mit Kurzbefehlen zusammenbauen. Freilich ist das mit mühevoller Handarbeit und Geduld verbunden.

Über den USB3.x Port lässt sich ja streiten. Ich bräuchte ihn nicht. Eines finde ich tatsächlich seltsam.
Es gibt kaum Modelle mit 2.5Gbit/s LAN. Und wenn einer vorhanden ist dann ist das der einzige WAN-Anschluss.Selbst wenn ich einen schnellen Switch habe sind die Wifi Geräte dann nur mit max. 1Gbit damit verbunden. Denn am WAN hängt ja schon der Internetanschluss.
6Ghz Wifi ist nett. Man darf aber nicht vergessen das diese Frequenz kaum Wände oder Decken durchdringt.

Hmm, kommt wohl 10 Jahre zu spät. Zumindest hierzulande sollte das Gros Dienste wie WhatsApp, Threema, Signal o. Telegram verwenden.
Skype, Discord und Element(Matrix) gibt es auch noch.Zum Durchbruch verhalf sicherlich das eine SMS bis zu 19 Eurocent kostete.
Wer nutzt noch SMS / RCS? 🤷🏼♂️

Da sitzt ein paranoider Mob in der EU der tagesaktuell alles über jeden wissen möchte und dann passiert so etwas.
Wie war das nochmal mit den Hack-Backen? Geheime, offene Sicherheitslücken zum Mitlesen?
Scheinbar kann doch jeder Lücken im System ausnutzen und private Informationen aufdecken. Aber warum eigentlich diese Aufregung wenn wir doch nichts zu verbergen haben.
