It dawned on me while building a #gobag that hot sauce is missing from pretty much every “how to build a go-bag” list.
Huge oversight.
Imagine your house just burned down in a wildfire. You’re stuck out in the woods. All you’ve got to eat is squirrel.
That sriracha is gonna make a fucking difference, eh?
Now, if you’re not like me and don’t want to carry a big-ass bottle of sriracha around during the apocalypse, Tabasco actually makes a decent habanero sauce. And thanks to the heroic amount of vinegar in that shit, I’m pretty sure it’ll survive longer than most governments.
Also, think about the barter economy.
#Endoftheworld. Money is worthless. Society has collapsed.
But you’ve got hot sauce.
A couple squirts could probably get you a foot massage. Maybe batteries. Maybe someone watches your stuff while you take a shit.
