Jimbob and Fruitbat made records, sold themselves as a voice for working class lads particularly from London. Witty and cynical, full of wisecracks and a throwback to Morecambe and Wise.
Not my bag at the time, I think I need to go back and re-assess them. Any band that can bring a broken down car on stage has got chutzpah and dreams big.

Been having a deep dive of my digital record collection the last couple of weeks and I'm extremely puzzled as to why I have a track from 1994 called "Titta Bort" by Tjernobyl Dödar.
It's Swedish, originally released in 1994 on a cassette called Krampfeber. Judging by the metadata I got it in 2010. Turns out it's a cover of GI Blues by Carter USM ("titta bort" means "look away")
