#Eurosky, Blueskys European sibling, has launched their own web client "mu.social" as an alternative to "bsky.app"
This means both client and servers are now hosted in Europe.
For now the experience is pretty much the same, except Mu supports editing ,once, for about five minutes after posting.
(Yeah, I know Mastodon...)Also, pink is the new blue!

Bsky.app is down today, that's 2026-04-16 & I can only say, God dam that BS site.
I have been posting feedback after feedback after feedback to bluesky about updating, modifying, to overall improve themselves, does feedback mean nothing to bluesky? Oh well got what they deserved, get well soon LOL.
I mean remove the 300 letter cap, allow a post to be edited after it's been posted, send a message that the person's left the chat, & nothing.

Federation != Decentralization
If you want proof look at bsky implementation
Mastodon is both federated and decentralized. A community can form in the middle of nowhere without the need to connect to Mastodon.social
That’s not the case in bsky?

No more invite code needed. Now that Bluesky is open to public they are on the way to 5 million users!
Currently 4.4 million users and nearly 148 million posts. Federation will begin this month! Very exciting!

I wonder if Tumblr will move away from supporting activitypub (Mastodon Pixelfed Misskey etc) and instead use the at protocol that powers Bluesky instead
