Paraliż płatności w całej Polsce. Awaria terminali została już opanowana
W sobotę, tuż po godzinie 12:00, tysiące Polaków napotkało poważne problemy podczas zakupów.
W całym kraju doszło do rozległej awarii terminali płatniczych, która uniemożliwiła realizację transakcji bezgotówkowych. Klienci sklepów, punktów usługowych i stacji benzynowych nie mogli zapłacić ani kartą, ani Blikiem. Awaria trwała blisko trzy godziny i została opanowana przed godziną 15:00.
Problem miał charakter ogólnopolski, a zgłoszenia w serwisie Downdetector napływały z największych miast, m.in. z Warszawy, Krakowa, Trójmiasta, Poznania i Wrocławia. Utrudnienia dotknęły klientów popularnych sieci handlowych, takich jak Biedronka czy Lidl, a także klientów praktycznie wszystkich największych banków w Polsce, w tym PKO BP, Pekao SA, Santandera i mBanku. Awaria nie rozróżniała wydawców kart – problemy zgłaszali zarówno posiadacze kart Visa, jak i Mastercard.
Za uspokojenie sytuacji odpowiedzialny jest operator terminali, firma eCard, która tuż przed godziną 15:00 wydała komunikat informujący o zażegnaniu problemu. Wciąż jednak nie podano oficjalnej przyczyny, która doprowadziła do tak poważnego paraliżu. Według nieoficjalnych informacji, które pojawiły się w mediach, trudności mogły dotyczyć w szczególności kart kredytowych oraz tych wydanych przez organizację płatniczą VISA.
Sobotnia awaria, która wystąpiła w godzinach szczytu zakupowego, boleśnie unaoczniła, jak bardzo polskie społeczeństwo uzależnione jest od płatności elektronicznych. Wielu klientów, nieposiadających przy sobie gotówki, musiało rezygnować z zakupów. Głos w sprawie zabrali również przedstawiciele rządu, w tym wicepremier i minister cyfryzacji, którzy poinformowali, że przyczyny awarii są analizowane, ale obecnie nic nie wskazuje na to, by była ona efektem cyberataku.
Chociaż awaria została już usunięta, niektórzy klienci zgłaszali w mediach społecznościowych, że w trakcie problemów ich konta mogły zostać obciążone podwójnie za jedną transakcję. Eksperci i banki zalecają, aby wszystkie osoby, które dokonywały płatności w czasie trwania awarii, dokładnie sprawdziły historię swoich rachunków i w razie wykrycia nieprawidłowości niezwłocznie złożyły reklamację.
