I suppose it's time for another #introduction now that there are more people here (joined in 2017). I'm a #curious #community-builder, I find that I take more joy in connecting people than in directly participating (I organized #BSidesDEN for a couple years and loved it).
I work in #infosec, doing #research, over my career I've explored deep CPU and chipset design flaws, #hypervisor security, and now looking at #deception and more for Thinkst Canary. I live in a small mountain town in SW #Colorado with my wife, toddler, and rescue #dog. In the past I was a PM at #DARPA, managed a couple #security teams at #AWS, and a researcher for a small firm in upstate NY. My best day of "work" was getting to #fly F-16s around the canyons in AZ.
Outside of work, I enjoy #MTB, riding my e-bike, and #trailrunning, having entered a number of #ultramarathons, and even completing some of them. I am a volunteer #firefighter and #EMT, on the board of a local #arts #nonprofit and do most of the #cooking at home. I led #canoe trips in northern #Canada for almost a decade as well. -
