Gestern Abend während des streams #Dienstagspolitik mit der Politikwissenschaftlerin Romy Höhne aus Halle (Saale) gab es plötzlich die Neuigkeiten, dass Halle nun Standort des #Zukunftszentrum wird und Romy Freue sich wie verrückt - wir sind nicht mehr zum spiele gekommen sondern haben einfach geredet, unter anderem über den Bewerbungsprozess bei dem Romy auch einen kleinen Teil beigesteuert hat. #Birdside: @[email protected] ->

That *new* #birdside feature, which says ''more tweets'' under someone's post, and displays completely unrelated content from others under someone specific tweet, making them look like replies, is really annoying!

I was wondering if there is a way to import old Twitter messages into #Mastodon as part of the big #twittermigration. So, with the only account I still had on the #birdside I exported my data and tried a migration script found at https://github.com/danehkar/import-tweets-to-mastodon. But the Mastodon API does not support setting the creation date when adding posts, so all your old tweets would appear as new toots. Not exactly what I had in mind. C’est la vie 🤷 !

#twittermigration has been a slow process and I noticed that I've spend less time on social media in general. Even on #Mastodon.
The times here have been mostly interactive, discovering new stuff and interesting people.
And a lot less doom scrolling like on the #birdside

I think about trust at work a lot, lately. #birdside
This article says: "Managers should cultivate trust by setting clear goals, giving employees the autonomy to reach them, and providing consistent feedback. Treat people like responsible adults.” I love that.
There is even a mathematical relationship between trust and economic performance. A good read for the long weekend.
