Online (and offline) behaviour might benefit by stronger reputational linkages and accountability, though that's a principle subject to abuse and authoritarian overtones. It seems to me that even a limited-term, largely pseudonymous system (hello, Fediverse!) should be capable of supporting reputation-based feedback in at least large prt.
In offline contexts, too-big-to-fail, inaccessible, politically-protected, and/or overly-armed entities can and do act with #impunity and #immunity, often for long terms, with little consequence. Engineering to fix this is a #BigProblem.
