Bad Cats
Apparently the cats pried open the door to the cellar and went downstairs even though I tell them every single day that cats are not allowed in the cellar.
Man, what a couple of jerks! Bad kitties! Bad!
2.5 hours left in the work day. To reiterate the sentiment of a blog post from earlier today, I want to go home. Blah!

Woke up to several alerts from the basement camera.
Somehow one of the cats got the door open.
First, he knocked a container of treats to the floor.
After that, he found a container of catnip and dragged it upstairs.
He was very proud of himself.

Bad cat. That's her name. Got a passport saying so.
Found by a friend, as kitten, in a dumpster, inside a tied up plastic bag. He adopted her as ships cat.
Loves to get greasy and once snuck aboard a French sailboat, got spooked, jumped into an open locker and disappeared into the voids of the boat, reappearing in a different locker, covered in black engine oil.
The frenchman was grateful, he could never get in there to clean the spill he said.

Too busy to take photos today, but the live mouse Benji brought in Weds evening, then ignored soon after it ran under my sofa, is still a resident.
I'd ordered some humane mouse traps that arrived today, filled them with peanut butter and set them near the sofa.
Benji waited until I was in an online meeting today to decide it is still with us, and that it is under my desk. -
