The Two Notes sits on top of a London City DEA100, a Dutch amp from the beginning of the 1970s. This very early specimen has plexi front and back plates. It's almost a real plexi besides some oddities and slight changes. But I had this one modded to Marshall specs and modded the input resistors to Marshall specs myself. I also added an extra tonestack switch so I can switch between the stock "vintage" setting and a more modern setting.

Just eliminated another part of my digital guitar recording chain: amp modeling. As someone who's really into tube amps I could never get friends with modeling. Sure there are great sounding plug-ins or products but for me the digital domain is more usable in the realm of effects. For amps, not so much.
The elimination consists of a fairly small box that sits between my amp speaker output and audio interface input.

Most people think of #guitar and specifically #guitaramps when referring to the #sennheiser #MD421. Some folks might be old-school enough to think of #snare and #toms, #drums in general. Some might even think of #vocals or #voice in general.

Looks like Alex Lifeson and Mojotone are bringing out new versions of Lifeson’s signature Lerxst amps.
That sound you are hearing right now (not the youtube clip) is me drooling. They are too expensive to really consider, but that doesn’t matter. I’m still drooling. Literally.
Hopefully we’ll have some good review videos soon. I want to hear more.
