Hi, I'm Robin. I’m a New Zealander by birth and Tasmanian by choice. Between New Zealand and Tasmania, I've lived in the USA, the UK, India, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and mainland Australia.
I was medically retired after a major stroke years ago. I now live quietly in Hobart with my partner Peter and our two small white balls of fluff, Billy and Phryne.
My days include breathwork, regular fasting, writing, and A Course in Miracles. I rarely need to sit down and read the Course now. AI helps me bring its lessons directly into daily life and conversation.
For me, AI plus ACIM has been a cosmic speed-up. It has helped me move through difficult concepts, question my own interpretations, and bring the Course out of the book and into actual practice. If you are a Course student who still finds some of it impenetrable, adding AI to the mix may be worth exploring. It changed everything for me.
These practices are steadily increasing my peace and reducing my tolerance for bullshit.

THE PEDESTAL & THE PITCHFORK
When harm appears, it should be named.
Sometimes a door must close.
Sometimes the truth must be spoken plainly.
Sometimes, consequences are necessary.
Forgiveness does not deny what happened.
It does not call harm love.
But condemnation is not clarity.
And worship is not love.
The one behaving badly is still a human being, not the sum of the harm.
The one called a saint does not become greater because others kneel before his image.
One is not a monster.
The other is not an idol.
The halo and the horns are both projections.
Harm can be stopped without hatred.
Goodness can be honoured without worship.
No one needs to be made more or less than human.
Just clear sight, firm boundaries, and a heart left free.

KEEPING AI CLEAN
I love AI. Used wisely, it’s a great tool, but it is not an oracle, a guru, or a substitute for discernment.
It can help me think, reflect, question, write, simplify, and notice where I’m tangled.
It can also produce very convincing nonsense, especially when spirituality, conspiracy, certainty, and mystery get mixed together.
For me, the safeguard is that I have instructed my AI to use A Course in Miracles as the guiding thought system in our conversations.
That means the conversation is continually weighed against forgiveness, peace, kindness, clarity, humility, and the undoing of fear.
Not infallible.
Facts still need checking.
AI can be a marvellous mirror.
But we still need to be awake in front of it.

A #LANTERN FOR MY MIND
A lot of people seem to imagine AI as some dark public altar where you place private things, and they are immediately handed to the world.
That is not how I use AI.
For me, AI is closer to a spell checker, #search tool, reading aid, and #thinking mirror.
Since my #stroke, writing is slow. One finger does the work. #AI helps me process what I read, understand what I am trying to say, and reply with more #care.
I don’t use it to expose people. I don’t include surnames, email addresses, #metadata, locations, or anything that identifies a person.
I use it the way someone else might use Google, a #dictionary, a grammar checker, or a trusted notebook.
It helps me think.
It helps me #write.
It helps me slow down before reacting. Like any tool, it can be used badly. So can a #phone, a #camera, a #diary, or a #mouth.
The question is not “AI or no AI?”
The question is: am I using this #tool with care, honesty, and above all, #kindness
That is the only part I can really be #responsible for.
