#Meditation is not about forcing thoughts away. It is about seeing them as they arise & pass. A thought appears, lingers briefly, then disappears. Another replaces it. None stay. None can be held. Poll: did you wear hand-me-downs as a child? That is clothes which belonged to older children in your community or family and were then given to you. I wondered about specifying gender but have decided it should be a free vote however if you have comments about gender and childhood cast off clothing, I would love to hear them.
