Followed this up with a listen to Aoife O'Donovan's *All My Friends* lp from last year.

I'll count this as a new listen, even though I know I played it once or twice after its release, if only bc I somehow missed its really beautiful, lush version of Dylan's "Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll" --- just wonderful!

But also bc I did not know that O'Donovan is playing with source material from Carrie Chapman Catt, which is pretty cool and means I really need a closer listen.

Apparently might be a folk-ish Sunday morning.

I mean, just look at how they all breathe together before the intro. Then when the fiddle starts doubling the mandolin, Sarah Jarosz starts to give the time with her head and has already shifted her body slightly towards Sara Watkins. Sara Watkins also turns slightly so she can watch the exact moment the pick hits the strings.

And that's just the first ~20-30 seconds of the song.
