I’m a bit miffed at this new trend of folks buying a pet from a breeder or pet store and referring to it as “adoption.” Like, it’s just semantics, but you know damn good and well that’s not what pet adoption means. If you bought your pet, it’s fine, don’t be gaslight-y about it
