"The Shadow" is in my #DesertIsland Top 20 #film list, easily. It leans boldly into the #pulp genre, has a great cast, and a banging #JerryGoldsmith soundtrack. I've never been able to understand why it didn't do much, much better #BoxOffice than it did.

Drew Struzan was an amazing and iconic movie poster artist. He was forced to retire a while back due to Alzheimers. His passing just calls to mind all the incredible work he did.

While people recall #JamesDarren 's "Gidget" and "Star Trek" and "TJ Hooker" creds, for me he will always be Tony from Irwin Allen's short-lived "Time Tunnel" TV series. The show aired when I was in kindergarten, and I had a green turtleneck I wore that was my special "Tony shirt."
