Edit: I’ve just recalled that #Cartographers has a bit of interaction when a monster card is drawn. There you have to pass your sheet to another player where they can draw a disruptive shape on your map.

While removing the extruder on my Creality Hi to clear a jam I damaged the wire that connects the extruder board to the print board and I have NO IDEA where to purchase a replacement wire.
It's a 3pin wire roughly 9cm long with 2 male ends where 1 is about 2mm wide and other about 5mm wide.
MUCH appreciate any advice on where to shop and what search terms to use for locating a replacement, ideally located in the US.

Next up is an insert for Castles of Burgundy specifically for the anniversary edition. Found a nice overlay for the player mats as well.
I chose this specific insert model as it left a little space which I wanted for the inserts and as you can see in the pictures below even with 4 overlays there was only a tiny bit of lid lift.

Had some clipboards burned with the tracks from Ironsworn to use binder clips for easy tracking of stats; will be doing similar for Mausworn once it's ready ☺️

Picked up a copy of Fireball Island: Race to Adventure for the younger kiddos and got to try it out today.
They liked it more than Forbidden Bridge especially with all the marble destruction 😅

HOWEVER did finish upgrade to zipline which was hugely successful; spent a good bit of time there as well and other family drove out just to try it out hehe.

Game 3 is Block Party; this is a drawing / guessing game like Pictionary but using colored cubes as pixel art. I'm usually terrible at this one but actually managed to tie for first!

Also got in a game of #Faraway where the cards most certainly conspired against me... could NOT find the 2nd plant icon I needed so my entire lineup only scored 4 points... Fortunately my sanctuaries came through allowing a narrow victory

Got in a game of #Flamecraft with youngest son while lady folks were out and about.
💙 gained a small lead in early game and then took off mid game as ❤️ hit a slump. Late game ❤️ started scoring several shop upgrades but 💙 had a couple big payoffs at the end that sealed their win

Random observation of our blobular house rabbit, George...
George has never been a huge fan of hay. You're supposed to make sure that hay/grass form a large part of a rabbit's diet - a majority of it, in fact - but that seems a bit too rustic for some bunnies. George is one of them.
He always has access to hay, of course - even if his food bowl is empty, there's always hay. And you'll see him pick at it sometimes.
But in the last few days I discovered that George is perfectly happy to eat hay for an indeterminate period - provided I sit on the floor and hand-feed it to him, one blade at a time. 🤦♂️
I've been a rabbit ~~owner~~ servant for 25 years, but I think this level of service is beyond me.
Sheesh.

Marguerite Audoux, Marie-Claire
La littérature a oublié Marguerite Audoux, née en 1863 dans le Cher et décédée en 1937. Elle a été la mère d’un seul personnage : elle-même – sous le nom de Marie-Claire, romançant son autobiographie sous la forme d’un conte écrit simple, par un coeur simple.
Sa vie a été de pauvresse, livrée à l’Assistance publique et séparée de sa sœur à la mort de sa mère, placée après sa première communion en ferme pour y servir de bergère, de vachère puis de servante en Sologne. Elle a rencontré l’amour enfant avec sœur Marie-Aimée, puis adolescente avec Henri, le frère de sa fermière. Mais pas question d’aimer : à chaque fois, c’est la rupture imposée, les curés parce qu’ils n’aiment pas l’amour terrestre ; les fermiers parce qu’ils n’aiment pas les amours ancillaires.
Seule la nature reste innocente et offre ses bienfaits. Le soleil qui se lève, la brume dans les bois, le printemps qui jaillit, les petits oiseaux qui chantent comme les enfants, ceux de Jean le Rouge à qui elle porte du pain béni. Car Marguerite Audoux a le don du trait vivant. D’une phrase, elle croque, et cela vit. Le cœur pur va droit au but.
Il n’y a pas grand-chose à dire lorsque l’on a eu une vie si terne, faite de devoirs et de servitude. Marie-Claire quittera les fermiers, tentera de retourner au couvent puis fuira à Paris en train. Octave Mirbeau, journaliste anarchiste, auteur de Sébastien Roch, qui dénonce (déjà en 1890 !) malgré Bayrou qui n’en avait jamais entendu parler le viol des adolescents par les prêtres, en assure la préface. « Elle écrivait non avec l’espoir de publier ses œuvres, mais pour ne point trop penser à sa misère, pour amuser sa solitude, et comme pour lui tenir compagnie, et aussi, je pense, parce qu’elle aimait écrire. »
Dans la suite écrite en 1920, L’Atelier de Marie-Claire, la romancière poursuit sur son expérience de couturière à Paris, avec un moindre succès.
