@jlw_the_jobber I had a bit of a bump, trying to remount my existing RAID drives in CasaOS without losing their data. The UI doesn't support that, and trying to hack it in place myself, not understanding anything about immutable distros, I kinda sorta got it working (assembled and mounted and smb shared), but couldn't get it to show up properly in the #ZimaOS UI.

snac is interesting. Both tut and Tusky are a wee bit cantankerous when dealing with it, and the web UI, while beautifully #brutalistic, is just a bit too verbose for my liking.
It works well with enafore, though, or at least it seems to.
I think it's definitely worth trying, but probably won't ever be my main home.
I'm pretty happy with GoToSocial for my home. There are times I miss Mastodon (and being on a large instance), but I don't miss the 500-char post limits or the lack of rich text support.

This is true. And while I people very well in specific domains where there is a set structure (which may actually make me a good manager in certain contexts), I definitely don't know how to people well in general.
For one thing, it kinda sucks when my brain:
- Likes to forget that people exist (#ADHD object impermanence)
- Always assumes that people are angry/disappointed at me (#RSD / #RejectionSensitivityDysphoria)
- Does a poor job of picking up on social cues (#SocialBlindness)
Fortunately, I don't have a severe case of most of these, except for the second one, which is pretty awful.
Also, while I don't like harping on "my story" (because so many have gone through so much worse), I did go through a very "Twilight Zone"-esque experience where I found all of my friends to be, well... nazis or political zombies, depending on how you want to look at it. Of course, that was preceded by about half a decade by an experience of abuse and rejection in my personal life which was pretty terrible, so I'm generally a bit f'd-up in the head when it comes to "peopling."
But I'd still like to improve. I don't live in my past. It's not a happy place, and past me isn't someone I have any allegiance to, in terms of spending emotional energy re-living.
I think there's a lot of freedom in that mindset, honestly. I sure as heck spent enough years chained to the hurts of the past. That's no freaking way to live.

miniflux is really nice. It works in most terminal browsers just fine, and on Android, you can use Miniflutt as the interface (or just the web interface, for that matter).
The UI isn't as nice as the old Google Reader, but it's gloriously #brutalistic / web 1.0.

I just got some Canarias Serena in the mail, so I'm looking forward to trying it tomorrow. It's probably fairly strong compared to the Argentinian brands I've had before.

#fedihelp I am trying to procure a legal copy of the 2011 Taiwan film “Starry Starry Night” that can be played/viewed in North America.
