Using a couple of spare #aerogarden systems as makeshift grow lights for our #seeds. We started them off in the RV but only have room for one tray and we started a second yesterday.
This tray has #parsley, #cabbage and bell #peppers in. It's actually two 1020 trays from #bootstrapfarmer - a mesh tray inside a flat tray to allow bottom-watering.
After success last year, we're doing soil blocking once again, but this year we started with micro blocks before transplanting them to these.

We're in #microblogs. And #blogging platforms like #WordPress already lets people control their comment section. #Facebook lets you delete comments in your posts and control who can comment. And IIRC #Twitter had this feature at one point too, idk if it still has it now that #ElonMusk took over :sagume_think:
There's zero reason why the rest of the #fediverse shouldn't adopt this too. :koishtare: Compatibility and federation be damned, I just want the canonical page containing my post to look how I want it to. :RumiaPray: I don't care about people talking behind my back, they aren't worth engaging anyway. :economist_kasen:
Moderators like me can have some control over replies in our posts since we can delete them from our instances for any reason, but it's not realistic to expect everyone to run their own instances and deal with administration every day. Regular users should be able to delete other people's replies under their top-level post too! :parsee_angy:

@joshsutphin @visnudeva EH the cultural expectation of short microblogs really only applies to mastodon specifically, not to fedi at large, and fedi at large is what you can end up with your display feed depending on who/what you follow. that's why it's so important to control it on the client side, and i have no idea why the official masto app doesn't do that for you 🙃
personally, i've got a federated blog, a federated photo thing, and this #gotosocial instance that allows suuuuuuper long posts. i don't expect anything i pull from the fediverse to respect my personal viewing preferences, so i control them myself.
