Thoughts?
When I design, I am hyper-focused on re-using systems and simple affordances.
After a few sketches, I came to the conclusion that I don't need a grandeur task system. There's already pages with linked references.
Two obstacles:
- The round-trip of checking off all the tasks on different pages. (Can't edit inline in backlinks.)
- I needed to able to switch from [[TODO]] to [[DONE]] easier than activating edit-mode, clicking into it, selecting four characters, and typing
done.
This is the solution I came up with: begin block with 'todo' (case-insensitive) and it'll be a [[todo]] in disguise, styled.
Clicking it changes it to [[done]], instead of navigating to [[todo]].

Mimir’s first Android experience is on an e-book. How fun is that.
My native iOS keyboard hack-ish thing doesnt work on this, yet. So physical keyboard mandatory.
But hey! I can actually make notes where I read the bulk of my stuff.

Wait a second.
For my Mimir #outliner … why use wikilink syntax ([[]]) instead of … the hashtag! It's essentially the same in my use case.
And it is much easier to type and understand.

And... #logseq officially has a split product with db and og. It could work.
But honestly.. I'm kind of liking obsidian now. 🫠 Sure it does 0.1 of what logseq can do. At the same, maybe that's ok? 😅
Like if you enrich frontmatter, use tags, and follow #outliner principles, obsidian can do a lot.
You don't need an everything tool. Just enough flexibility to shape your needs. 😉

New release of markdown-neuraxis desktop v0.0.11 has collapsible headings/bullets, which I think qualifies it as an #outliner
https://github.com/timabell/markdown-neuraxis/releases/tag/v0.0.11
Another #SideProject #SmallWin for the love of #FOSS #Markdown #Privacy and #SelfHosting
I'm hoping eventually this will be a haven for others like me looking for an alternative to the inspiring #LogSeq
Not ready for dog-fooding yet, but the pieces are falling into place and I'm determined to make it useable!

Эта статья будет полезна DS специалистам, и тем, кто хоть когда-нибудь сталкивался с такой проблемой, как выбросы в данных или OOD (out of distribution), и ищет пути решения проблем, возникающих из-за них.
