Disclosure: I've had sleep weirdness most of my life. I scared my grandfather by #sleepwalking as a kid. I talk in my sleep periodically. I've been informed that I have little fits of muscle jerking in my sleep- two twitches, then I go still, then a while later two twitches again. Apparently I had a period where I'd occasionally sit up, look around, make confused noises, and then slowly lie back down without a single word, but I never remember that in the morning.

In fairness, I know #explodingheadsyndrome is harmless. I've read a lot of disturbing medical stuff in the past for fun and #EHS is specifically cited in most of the things I've read as 'scary name, harmless problem'. But man, that is *not* a first screen I think most people would want to see.

I can't get #prescription #catfood in anything smaller than a full sized bag or a flat of 24 cans and I cannot justify buying that much #petfood at a time just for a taste test. I cannot fimd a place near me that sells #royalcanin prescription diet and even then I expect they'd still insist that I buy a whole flat or a full sized bag at once.
Do I have any alternatives? How can I take care of my #cat's kidney needs if she won't eat the stuff?

#furniture question- or rather, #slipcover #sewing question.
I've had an #ikea #EKTORP 3-seater sofa for ten+ years now. It's still great to sit on or lie on, but the fabric exterior needs replacing. I know I can buy replacement covers but I'd like to take a stab at sewing my own. I've made clothing, canvas bags, and quilts before, but never furniture covers/slipcovers/whatever the appropriate term is for the take-it-off-and-throw-it-in-the-laundry part of an EKTORP is.

most of my spoken French exposure comes from watching Au Service De La France with the subtitles on, plus a couple of movies. I don't know what Caribbean languages/dialects sound like, or how many Creole variations there are; I'm assuming someone in this part of the US/New England who just uses the word 'Creole' means #HaitianCreole .
