Can't find any traces in food cans or cat feces...
We have 2 cats and we found worms in both food trays. The trays aren't completely cleaned between each meal, and sometimes lay on the floor for hours if we forget to put them into a drawer. The one that has much more worms in usually stays out longer.Anybody has any idea what this could be?

"If your cat has eaten the affected pet food (or raw food in general) and you're concerned about bird flu, speak to your vet. Some signs of infections include:
Discharge/crusty eyes or nose.
Lethargy.
Loss of appetite.
Seizures or tremors."After you throw away your affected food, you should continue to monitor your cat closely for a few weeks: bird flu symptoms can take days to show up, and it's highly contagious. So far, however, no people who came in contact with infected food (or allegedly infected food) have come down with the virus, but you should continue to monitor your own symptoms as well."

Shylo is the sweetest cat, but she also wakes me a few times a night for food, which is exhausting. I just bought this Petory automatic feeder. I can't get #prescription #catfood in anything smaller than a full sized bag or a flat of 24 cans and I cannot justify buying that much #petfood at a time just for a taste test. I cannot fimd a place near me that sells #royalcanin prescription diet and even then I expect they'd still insist that I buy a whole flat or a full sized bag at once.
Do I have any alternatives? How can I take care of my #cat's kidney needs if she won't eat the stuff?

My regular cat food manufacturer has recently changed their product that I buy for Rosey the #cat. Since the switch I have noticed that she has been hungry alot more often. I have just checked the pouch size/recommend portion and see that they have changed. Instead of 2-3 pouches they have upped it to 3-4 meaning that I have to buy more pouches - and of course they are still the same price!

The cat wants to eat the cat food, but only when one of us is in the kitchen (where her bowls are). She can be completely snoozing somewhere, but if I go to the kitchen, she LEAPS up to go in there as well. My husband can be in an entirely different room, but if she hears him going to the kitchen ... LEAP. The food is always there, but for her it's no fun to eat it unless one of us is there. Weird? Or Common?
