So Project Rotting Corpse, is poised to begin rollout of Bio Recycle Engineering's new sentient roadkill cleanup bots, they will traverse the streets of America sucking up the decaying roadkill finely grind it and disperse it across green spaces as natural fertilizer, and considering these bots can with ease scoop up a bison and disperse it as fertilizer, one can only imagine that the occasional pedestrian or someone's grandma who fell down in the parking lot will meet the same fate, really brings no sense of urgency to such useless tech, yet with animals dying at alarming rates all across the country and no one to clean them off the streets, local governments are eager to try this out despite the fact it could be them that accidently becomes natural fertilizer that gets dispersed all across the city park, residents in many towns are speaking out in confused fits of fear that Bio Recycle Engineering claims is manufactured hysteria;

Earlier today I searched through all of the audio segments I could find at CBC "As It Happens" and "The Current" radio shows and I could not find anything about BillC22.
There was a small number of web page posts at cbc.ca/news about the bill.
IMO the public was not well informed about Bill C22.
Maybe that is what the gov wanted?
I do not regularily check the parliament web pages for new legislation.
I found out accidently via an odd post on Mastodon that managed to get enough boots to make it into the general feed.
I believe C22 should be delayed until more people have time to consider the consequences.
IMO if more people know what was in the bill that there would be more outrage.I think the lack of proper notice is grounds to take more time, especially in the Senate (if it gets there).
If C22 passes as is then we might never fully recover all of the Charter rights and freedoms we had in 2025.
I feel betrayed by the PMMC government.

Anyone has dealt with Framagit and can share some light on activating package registry? #framagit Looks like it isn't activated at all, isn't visible in General/Settings in feature list as 'Package' and I cannot upload aything there via curl with $CI_JOB_TOKEN.. If this will fail, what is good practice with Gitlab with only Releases enabled? Adding links to artifacts without expiration data (still they can be accidentaly deleted) or upload everything to external server and add link? #CI #gitlab

I asked the Managers for context of the messeges to translate and was denied the Info, because threat actors should Not be able to guess from a message if they made Progress. I pointed out, that i Was Not a threat actor and without the knowledge i might accidently create a Translation that is actually helpful to threat actors. So today me and the kids will be engaging in an hour or two of playing Minecraft together. Me on the 'Deck, and them on the PS5.
My 7 year old is going to school me in block based engineering and my 3 year old is going to blow me up accidently by throwing TNT at me or something.

In an update from the US aircraft carrier likely responsible for these deaths, turns out they accidently dropped $60M worth of aircraft in the ocean just yesterday.
Notice this ABC story doesn't mention -exactly- why the airplane sunk in the ocean.

@DoomsdaysCW Now, UI devs need to work on some of their elements that affect movement disorders.
A lot of websites are using features that if you click outside a popup, like for searching or filling out a form, the popup closes. A simple way to turn that off and provide an X or close button would do wonders. I love that Mastodon at least buffers that somewhat, esp if you are writing a post and accidently click which would lead you away from what you are working on
It's not just for people with the most widely known form of #MovementDisorders, like #Parkinsons, but all people as they age get tremors, dystonia, and ataxia, some just an annoyance, but others significant, as their damaged nervous system breaks down communication with their brains through the simple act of aging and lifestyle choices. #a11y .
