They have issued 0.3.1 patch to #PathOfExile2 and it looks nice!
In short words:
- all maps have a boss - makes it more fun and you don’t have to clear the map
- you don’t have to run towers to juice maps
- I finally have an incentive (I mean it’s now easy) to use precursor tablets, because you don’t have to run them through towers -

Just dropped more money than I'd like to admit just to relive the pure, pixelated joy of playing Tetris on a GameBoy. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Did I just pay a premium for 8-bit blocks falling in increasingly stressful ways? 100%. No regrets... well, maybe a few.

I hate #Minecraft.
So today me and the kids will be engaging in an hour or two of playing Minecraft together. Me on the 'Deck, and them on the PS5.
My 7 year old is going to school me in block based engineering and my 3 year old is going to blow me up accidently by throwing TNT at me or something.

#GoodMorning! Ive been on a mission this morning to pick up and install a new CPU cooler. My choice is #Thermalright #PeerlessAssassin and I already see it was a good choice. I’m down from 54°C in idle and 94°C under load to respectively 42°C and whopping 72°C…😂🙈 That’s over 20°C less than 120mm AIO.
For around €40? That’s a joke…😁
It’s a big one though. Almost makes that 7900XT look small…😂

#GoodMorning! Today it’s #PathOfExile2 morning. Stepped up my game again by finding cheap (430 exalted🙄😂) poor man’s version of Ingenuity belt, new gloves and new wand +4 to all spells. I’m killing it!🥰
Now, this is what overconfidence looks like…😂🙈😳
But… Things like that should not happen. I’ve been one shot out of nowhere, both full 4K of shield and mana each gone in a blink…😂

#PathOfExile2 has received an 8GB update with better loot and less boring maps. As I’m creeping up to level 93, I’m trying to hoard some currency so I can spend it on more energy shield, so I can have more mana, so I can have more dps…😂

Not yet “boss deletion”, but getting there. From having to do hundreds consecutive perfect dodge rolls in campaign to “melting” Tier 15 boss in 10 seconds…🙈😂 And there’s still a lot of space to improve!🥰🤷🏻♂️
I’d think the #PathofExile2 end game would be boring, but I’m not slowing down. It’s still fun and I haven’t even touched other characters, but sorceress.

Two lucky #PathOfExile2 T15 boss encounters! The electrocute (from unique gloves) is doing the job for me, because for most of the time they are stunned with lightning and not moving at all.
I can then just stand there and unleash (orb + 20k dps Spark) everything I’ve got without any risk. The worst part is surviving from one shock to another if I’m not able to melt them in one go… I’m enjoying this so much!😂🥰

#GoodMorning! Time to go back to normal - work and cycling. I have yet to open 2025 with a bike ride and due to the weather, I have a feeling it will be an indoor ride.
In the meantime, my #PathOfExile2 #StormWeaver is now level 84...😅

As difficult as it was for me to make time, I’ve crawled and dodge rolled into the end game!😂
The game is glitchy and unbalanced enough I was able to run almost unlimited mana with Arc, Orb, Tempest and Archmage. I went through Viper before it got to the last stage of the fight…😂
The level is now 67! Still going strong!🥰

On the one hand, I'm excited to have just pulled the trigger on all the meticulously researched parts for a new #AMD gaming PC (in the #GamerDad leagues, ie. a $450 GPU, respectable but nowhere near cutting edge.)
On the other hand, I'm more excited for The Black Parade (a year old fan-made set of extra missions for #Thief The Dark Project - a 1998 game) than I have been for any other game this year, so I could have probably spent about 1/5th as much on the PC and that would have been fine.
