@drjulie_b So one thing is to use `group=interaction(dph,otherthing)`, so that'll make combinations of the dph and otherthing. So that's splt into number of groups of #dph*#otherthing
Maybe inspecting `otherthing` to see what values are in there? Is a factor with levels that are now filtered out?

It was great to present my work on fatalism and climate action in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea, in a session on "Emotions in the transition to a no-carbon society" at the Global Tipping Points conference @uniexeter.
I talked about high levels of fatalism - beliefs that the future is predetermined and that human agency is pontless - in Bougainville, how this already reduces climate action, and wonder how this could be a barrier to harnessing potential positive tipping points in populations truly left behind.

I also learned from @laurafoggrogers the importance of triggering positive emotions to fully engage the population at large, while Genevieve Guenther @doctorvive proposes a very interesting paradigm combining fear, outrage and desire, drawn from her book "The language of climate politics". I think everyone agrees that one size-fits-all type of communication is not optimal and that tailoring the message to the recipient is very important.
#DrJohnRowlatt discussed about how to best engage the UK population, and elderly people in particular, to switch to low-carbon heating systems. @larasningrum_dianty talked about the potential for narratives of hope in low-income countries and in general.

This is another release of mine that originated in Advent of Type. Andily is a digitisation of Lydian (Chappell). Since the Advent of Type release, i've added the little letters, dashes, and typographic quotes (use the OpenType Layout feature case to get ones that match the capital letters).
The repertoire is limited, following the original US PTO scan, but i like this font, so i will be adding accents and stuff, but no timetable so far.
It's ideal for book covers (about half the uses of Lydian on FontsInUse are books).

Celticists please note that Typewriter B now has some support for Middle-Welsh, and extended Irish support: i added Tironian Et and traditional dotted lenition.
The most common modern use of Tironian Et seems to be picture of Pay and Display machines on Wikipedia.
Thanks to @raymaccarthy and @storydragon for discussions and prompting me to extend Welsh and Irish support.

It is my pleasure to announce my font Typewriter B now has support for Welsh. And Slovenian, Māori, and Ento. And a bit more punctuation and fractions.
Wikipedia suggests the following pangram in Welsh. I like that "jac codi baw" apparently translates as "Jack digs dirt" and is a backronym for JCB (the digger).

A sneaky early access for extension of my font Typewriter B. Wayfinding arrows, inferior and superior numbers, and dashes. The em-dash is double-wide, so of course i have to demonstrate it working with the ss02 feature which enables true 10cpi Pica Pitch.
You only get superior numbers in 1 to 8. That's still 5 more than Courier New and 4 more than Courier Prime, and the next full release will have them all.

New font release. Today I'm launching Omega VI as early access. I checked the first drawings for this, and i started it almost 4 years ago. So, welcome to my 4 year font that doesn't even have accents or a lowercase yet.
Fun facts: i stole the O and extended it to a whole font; the font includes the roman numeral Ⅵ which is used in this graphic, but no other roman numerals.

One of the things that finally pushed me over the edge into releasing my new font Clive https://drj11.itch.io/clive-font was coming up with the name. For a couple of years it had been called "ZXShade". It's not unusual to name fonts after people, but i feel that they are often aspirational and femme coded. Like Amelia, or Victoria. No one really names their fonts with boring white-man names, like Clive. So once i had the idea, i had to use the name. (though, counterpoint: Gary and David exist). #clive
