A while ago i had the idea to use a grid based on E24, or another preferred number series, for making a font. As an experiment, last year i remodelled the font Keycard to use such a grid vertically. Here you can see it in action. The E24 series is a geometric progression, and so is more closely spaced at the start (bottom). To me it shows enough promise that it would be reasonable to pursue this "preferred number series grid" idea further. #grid #e24 #FontDesign
