War schon jemand mal beim #Biathlon in #ruhpolding ?
Wir haben Stehplatzkarten für Sonntag und ich würde mich über ein paar #Insidertipps freuen, um mich ein bisschen vorbereiten zu können.
Wir werden mit dem Auto nach Ruhpolding (Bahnhof?) fahren und dann mit dem Shuttle weiter.
Sollten wir gleich zur Stadionöffnung um 9 Uhr da sein?
Kann man die Plätze zwischendrin verlassen oder sind die dann weg?

Look, I don't want to tell other people how to do the fediverse, but here's a tip some of you may find useful: you really don't need to boost every single post in a long thread. If you do, then anyone who doesn't care about the thread is going to be really annoyed, and they may decide to hide all your boosts or unfollow you completely. Be considerate.
Similarly, if you're posting a long thread it's good #fediquette to make posts after the first "quiet" visibility.

Z małym zgrzytem. #Nginx wymagał drobnej korekty location. To pomyślałem że podzielę się, bo może ktoś się odbije od tego samego. Tu akurat domyślna konfiguracja nginx w #YunoHost-owej apce "My webapp" nie zadziałała. Wyskakiwały 404 przy logowaniu do domeny instancji.
Domyślne location było:
try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args =404;
a powinien być dodany index.html, bo to przecież #SPA / #PWA:
try_files $uri $uri/ /index.html =404;
Niniejszym macie receptę jak do swoich GtSów na YunoHost dodać własne #plfe.
Polecam, to najlepszy klient webowy i na telefon 👍
P.S. Zacznę chyba nazywać #NicoleFE bo mi się pl-fe średnio podoba 😉

Sur la page d'accueil, il y a un "fil" de messages dans l'ordre.
Pour améliorer son fil, on peut aller chercher de bonnes sources : si une publication plait, on appuie sur le nom de l'auteur·e, puis on appuie sur "abonnements". On se retrouve devant énormément de boutons "Suivre".Pour orienter son fil vers ce qui importe, on peut :
* écrire un mot à côté de l'icone de loupe ;
* appuyer en haut à droite sur "Messages" ;
* booster une publication puis cliquer/appuyer sur le nom de l'auteur·e. Bouton "Suivre" puis appuyer sur "abonnements". Boutons "Suivre". (Peut-être éviter quelques hommes ?)#astuces #commentÇaMarche #introductionFr #astuce #FediTips #IHM

How long does account migration take to propagate across the Fediverse?
How long does the domain the account was migrated from need to remain active to prevent annoying other servers?
Hypothetically, if 1.domain.tld was running fedi server A and 2.domain.tld was running fedi server A, could 1.domain.tld be taken offline 30 days or so after all (one) users had migrated over? What if someone then set up fedi server B on 1.domain.tld 30 days or so after that? Would that still make the server log gods angry about the changed keys and different locations of resources?

If you’re coming from bsky my biggest tip is to Follow hashtags!! This is equivalent to the lists you follow on bsky. It’ll fill your feed up with new posts to that tag, and of course you can browse the tags to find people you want to follow!! The fediverse is a “build your own feed” kind of place.

Changing to #Moshidon has been a revelation. Being able to create custom timelines consisting of lists of hashtags is simply awesome.
This means you don't have to follow all the hashtags and cloud your regular timelines. And normal lists can only utilize accounts. Not hashtags..
The downside is that it isn't supported by #Mastodon itself.

Ich hätte gern ein #Fernglas um im Urlaub z.B. Vögel zu beobachten oder generell ein bisschen in die Ferne zu gucken. Leider hab ich keine Ahnung auf was ich beim Kauf achten muss.
Kriterien:
- kompakt und nicht zu schwer
- für Brillenträger geeignet (falls das irgendwie relevant ist)
- bezahlbar, ohne dass ich eine Hypothek aufs Fahrrad aufnehmen mussBin über jeden Tipp dankbar. Auch welche (Fach)geschäfte gute Anlaufpunkte sind.
