The GameBoy cart PCBs arrived earlier this week and they look so nice. The RP2040 portion all appears to work perfectly, was able to load the binary with no issues, which is a relief. Now I need to go through and update the EEPROM flashing code to match the final pin out and hope my address decoder circuit actually works correctly. Fingers crossed

Needed a dynamic status page on some #embedded #pcengines #netbsd boxes, so thought I'd see if a #perl #nginx #fastcgi #daemon (with a pidfile & 'start', 'stop', status' etc) was quick to setup

#embedded #linux heads: i'm trying to change the boot animation on my #pocketchip. i can change the plymouth theme and update-initramfs and it shows the theme i picked. i cannot for the life of me preview plymouth without rebooting the computer, trying to debug plymouthd under x simply fails to use graphical mode and all i can previeiw is the fallback text boot splash. but on a real boot it works fine. help me not reboot my device a hundred times to test new themes

Red Pitaya using only pyVISA
The Red Pitaya boards offer an SCPI server over an TCP/IP Socket connection. The makers describe how to use it. But instead of using plain pyVISA, they provide their own SCPI class.
That's fine, because that class also provides handy functions to set the various in-built applications (signal generator and the likes).
