Hey, front-end devs: If you put a click handler on a link to make it do something special rather than just navigating to the href, make sure your handler *only triggers on left-click*, NOT on middle-click or right-click!
If I tried to use middle-click to open the link in a new tab, and your event handler nullified my intent as a user, I will not be happy with your site.

Ein Anwalt hat über ChatGPT einen meiner Blog-Artikel gefunden und beim Content-Klau vergessen, den auf meinen Blog-Artikel verweisenden HTML Tag "a href" inklusive des Referrers "ChatGPT" zu entfernen. Den für die Leser sichtbaren Quellverweis, zwischen dem öffnenden und schliesenden <a href> und </a> Tag, hat der Anwalt gelöscht. Was er allerdings nicht auf der Pfanne hatte: Der ahref-Tag inkl. Link zu meinem Blogartikel verblieb natürlich (für ihn und für die Leser unsichtbar) in seinem Seitenquelltext. Ebensowenig auf der Pfanne hatte er wohl, dass ich ihm auf die Schliche komme und umgehend um eine ordnungsgemäße, korrekte Darstellung und Quellangabe oder sofortige Entfernung bitte... 😉

Even so, at my photography page on Smugmug - where I do have direct editorial control - even after I edited my landing page to add the html rel="me" tag it wouldn't work because Smugmug's html parsers edited the tag to remove the rel="me"

It took me 24 hours of work because there are literally zero tutorials nor documentation on this in Japanese... I have also made this accessible with a keyboard shortcut... so that I can make href links at will.... without typing
