It appears to me that #Lebara (a mobile ISP in the UK) is blocking #Tailscale.
Can anyone confirm? Anyone know if they are willing to unblock?

I'm trying to figure out how #tailscale funnels work. I have two different docker containers on the same machine running on different ports. I have one up and running and that works fine. But I want to add another service on the same machine. Is it possible to have a funnel to listen to more than one port?

ugh, in 30 minutes I have seen 35 people expose their .git folder using tailscale funnel
and that was a quick poc, I think I'm only watching one of the CT firehoses
in reality it's probably worse

I think funnel is a really dangerous footgun which should come with a big warning that whatever you expose will get scanned from the internet immediately
I recall there was a banner in the documentation, but it should be in BIG RED letters when running it
I intentionally only did HEAD requests, but when I exposed my little test server I immediately saw GET requests for .git/config
I assume next step is that they come for .git/HEAD and then pull down everything...

Aaaaaand I've done the manual upgrade from tails 6.x to 7.1 :D A round of applause for the #tails @tails team (which, as I understand it, has merged with the @torproject team #tor). The walk-through steps on the website are straightforward (it feels like a technical writer actually spent some time working with the language and with readers/users to iron out kinks). The on-boarding experience for new installs once you've loaded it up is great too! Setting up a new persistent storage volume and configuring it was a breeze.
I effectively use tails as a not-quite-airgap environment for when I need to fiddle with #pki #pgp #OpenPGP #gpg stuff (I made updates to my public key notations for #KeyOxide @keyoxide). All of that worked flawlessly too, including with a #SmartCard reader.

- I’m provisioning a throw-away server using an emphemeral key
- the server is tagged as “server” and “ephemeral”
- I can see it as ephemeral in my Tailscale admin panel
- I’m running tailscaled with “—state=mem”
- I’m even doing an explicit “tailscale logout” on shutdown
Yet.. the instance sticks around in my Tailscale control panel for hours if not longer and blocks the hostname during that time.
Anyone in the same situation?

I watched the first "TailsTube" episode, that little video series moderated by Tails from Sonic.
It's cute and nicely animated.
And he uses ChaOS as operating system, which is a play on the little Chao-creatures.
(I'm sure it's a Linux distribution, I'm sure Tails is a Linux guy.^^)Well, on to more episodes, now that I spent most of the day sleeping, exhausted from the weekend. 😁
