@larswienand.bsky.social thank you so much for sharing this. It's time to boycott American products, no doubt about it. They're turning into a force for evil in the world and that's the least we can do.
I know, they've never been exactly the good guys. But this is something else. This is dangerous for the world.
PS: It's important to say though that this is about the current USA Govt and its corporations. I'm not Anti-American.

@jendrik partly herd effect, partly marketing stunt, mostly monopoly, I guess. Some colleagues just laugh when I mention OSS alternatives for most of what we use at work. I'm "that guy". It's frustrating.
More than once I used Jitsi Meet https://meet.jit.si/ when via Teams it was impossible to establish a video conference with a colleague that wanted to share the screen with me. Jitsi did the job perfectly.

Can anyone recommend good #OpenSource, #CloudNative #messaging brokers with a more product-oriented approach? I was thinking Nextgen #Mirth Connect, but with a modern UI and a good developer experience. I am basically looking for persistent queues that are easy to monitor with a dashboard, HTTP interfaces and support for filter and transformation logic.

For those interested in contributing to the future of #FHIR, invest some time filling this survey:

The survey closes on end of day Friday 22 (American Samoa time), so hurry up :rblobcatpeek:

For those who are considering #AWS #eventbridge as a broker for your business services' events, bare in mind that if EB fails some invocations while trying to deliver events to a certain API Gateway destination target (let's say, if the endpoint responds with a 422 http status code), EB will fail some other events without even trying to deliver them, because it will consider them 'very likely' to fail.
It is not, IMHO, an at-least-once delivery service.

Studying for AWS Associate Architect certification for the last week or so, I have the test scheduled for a few weeks from now: anyone have any tips on how to better use the short time I have to study? What are the topics I should definitely invest some time on?
