Das interessante ist, das mit HL7 CDA und HL7 FHIR sogar Standards existieren, die aber noch an die deutschen Verhältnisse (u.a. wie wird bei einem Labortest der spezifische Test kodiert (mittels LOINC oder SNOMED oder gar C-NPU?), welche Unit of Measurement gehört zu diesem Test, ...) angepasst werden müssten.

Tho, your point of federating EMRs means it shouldn't really matter what individual EMR a hospital uses! Regulation seems to be the only way to deliver that change (least in the US): #HL7 CDA interchange underlies the little cross-compatibility there is, but not all EMRs are interconnected. FHIR is maybe too granular ?

Given my #healthcare IT interest, I am particularly interested in understanding #customerneeds and providing #customervalue. On the technical side, I look for #interoperability topics and standards such as #HL7 #FHIR in the context of #eHealth, #healthcare infrastructure, and networks. For all of that, there is a need for #cloud platforms, #workflow, #processautomation, and in the long run, #LCNC.

SNOMED - greater granularity than LOINC, & must be used when describing more complicated, process-driven tests, such as anatomic pathology and microbiology
