Al termine della proiezione seguirà un incontro con gli autori e il curatore Marius Babias con traduzione simultanea in italiano.
In una rivisitazione del film Il dialogo di Roma (1982) di Marguerite Duras, Katerina Poladjan e Henning Fritsch mostrano immagini della città di Roma, sovrapponendovi una voce fuori campo. L’io narrante rievoca frammenti di memoria: l’arrivo in uno spazio indefinito di possibilità e il ricordo di un’infanzia immaginaria trascorsa a Ostia. Come nell’opera di Duras, la narrazione si muove nel solco dell’intimità e dell’esperienza personale. Lo sguardo rifugge dalle vedute emblematiche per indagare una città sospesa tra bellezza e marginalità, superando ogni distinzione tra ciò che è “proprio” e ciò che è “straniero”.

📢 Honored to return to Yale University last week to speak at the Department of Computer Science colloquium on Operating Systems security -- exactly 10 years after my first talk there on the same topic!
In this "tin anniversary" edition, I reflected on how OS kernel exploitation and defense have evolved over the past decade, and shared highlights from some of our recent work in the field over the last five years:

It has been a year of innovation, creativity, and growth—both for the lab and for me personally as its director. Ich dachte, ich mach mal ein Real Life Update, weil ich mich hier etwas rar gemacht habe.
Also, momentan habe ich Urlaub.
Aber seit 24.8., rückwirkend zum 1.8., bin ich Filialleitung einer Filiale einer nordhessischen Bäckereikette. Das habe ich so nicht kommen sehen und kam überraschend. Anstrengend und fordernd, aber nicht negativ, sondern ganz spannend. Mit der neuen Position kommen auch neue Verpflichtungen und Verantwortung für Personal, daran muss ich mich erst gewöhnen.
Daher bin ich hier auch nicht mehr so aktiv, weil meine Zeit für das Real Life drauf geht.Aber, weil ich jetzt 2 Wochen Urlaub habe, die ich auch dringend nötig hatte, werden die nächsten Tage im Kleingarten verbracht, der hat viel Arbeit nötig. Hecken schneiden, Wiese mähen, Beete umgraben und für den Herbst fertig machen.
Und, ich freu mich soo darauf, den ganzen Tag draußen zu verbringen, weil ich die letzten Wochen fast nur in meiner Filiale am arbeiten war und wenig normales Tageslicht abbekommen habe.Und, natürlich, falls sich Menschen hier fragen, weil er nichts mehr postet: Marius (aka @Phexcaer ) und ich sind noch zusammen und alles ist gut. Er hat nur zur Zeit kein Bedürfnis, im Fedi Zeit zu verbringen. Aktuell ist das neue Game Blood of Dawnwalker das Tagesinteresse, neben dem alltäglichen Kram 😁.
