I want to do for the music world what open-source has done for the technology world.
Music contracts with industry giants work like proprietary software, they put your work behind lock & key and charge up the @$$ for it.
Creative Commons is like the Open-Source of art and other media, it turns the status-quo on its head and says, "We'll give it all away because there's better ways to fund, support and collab on your work than this."

I wonder if it would benefit some social networks to integrate a PGP/GPG style "trust" (https://phildev.net/pgp/gpgtrust.html) into user accounts.
Accounts could 'trust' other accounts with varying levels so as to vet them for others. Maybe use QR codes for in-person 'signing'?
This may be an effective way to reduce unwanted AI/bot activity since the approach is toward verifying "I know and trust this person" rather than how some karma or reputation systems work.

Today I worked remotely using #Starlink for the first time in the middle of nowhere and I was absolutely blown away.
It was so easy to set up and I had zero issues with video calls which was my biggest concern. Work felt the same as if I was in the city, and there were times where I forgot I was even using it. Truly a gamechanger for remote workers and digital nomads! Very curious to see how it performs during one of our great Canadian snowstorms 👀
Starlink veterans, what has your experience been working remotely with it? Pros and cons?

I've been spending way too much time in cities lately, but I've finally found some dark sky (even if there is a full moon). Let's see if we can't get a good imaging session going tonight. #astrophotography #astronomy #zwo #bodesgalaxy #m81 #m82
