"Just calling it communism isn't sufficient because there are different kinds"

"Just calling it anarchism, the same problem"

    Yeah!

Just me, but I would start by saying that is not necessarily .
    Already a lot to absorb.

Feminism (marxist.org, Alexandra ) -- like, that's not even remotely marxist!

Marx let his children die of starvation while he wrote das Kapital and related stuff. Not a role model!

  2. @DCampbell @[email protected]
    Obviously you are correct.

My issue is with the word "should". You can't "should" things into existence. The system deliberately created the current set of issues, such as burning the planet.

"Not for profit" and "charity" are tax statuses. No stock ownership, so they give themselves raises.

"The Path", I believe, is like Carl Rogers created for therapy: model the way things "would" be (if all things were equal) as a complex structure. As in OO engineering.

  3. @m0xEE @thelinuxcast @james @matthew

The best I can remember was on a Digital VT-100 terminal:

    "I'm coming over with a six-pack"

No clue, but it was there for every day of my first system job.

    It's a synthesis. Doesn't , it develops, . evolves. Why you are a .

  5. @fossesq This thread reeks of the form known as .

I heard an interview on public radio with a well-known Serbian writer (and professor) Vesna Goldsworthy who friended the Russian enclave in London.

Oligarchs collected not only art, but books. All were beneficiaries of the old school soviet education system, with one being a professor.

My view of education is that it is in the sense of the original academy - the reverse of . Crime.

  6. and appropriate use.

My (opened box) laptop has a 1/4 speed NVMe and (literally) a harddrive to make up 1TB, I am looking for uses when I put current storage.

So I am looking for uses for these when they are surplus. I am thinking NAS, but, in the end, these slow devices need to be put in even slower systems so that they don't become bottlenecks.

    What would that be?

  7. @massonpj

is just marketing. Exceedingly expensive when you can easily do it on your own, as I did.

I keep giving the socratic structure too much credit. Thinking it is control they seek as a means in itself (for pleasing glandular responses), it's money they want. Esp my ex's edX family.

  8. @ology @Moray
Right now I am attempting a desktop that I can sell not just use. Key issue is that Gnome is not easily modded. Kubuntu, on the other hand.... it's a distraction.

Plan is to figure out UEFI using efibootmgr (dot exe). Add and remove distros fully-native with gparted. needs a gui (badly).

I am starting with Alpine because they too are in the learning process.

  9. @nosherwan It's in the wider definition of "ubuntu" (not the OS). Your individuality is in the crowd (or tribe) because the crowd is where you get your support.

    So grouping is individuality:

I happen to be in a group funded by government... whereas civic tech worldwide is talking this:

  10. @yakkoj Hate to say it, but he leveraged what he learned in the New Economy of the 90s to build . Pretty much ignoring for the benefit of .

His competition, , being government is forced out of its slumber.

being what government does best. We have pressing problems right here.

  11. This is my guide to the videographers

Tiktok will shut down sept 15 accor to trump-shit, is there an open-type 'short format' video host I don't know about?

Tiktok doing what they did, etc, probl deserves it, but it is the common way to expose US police brutality, and trump's mercenary army from the mex border that LOST

    my server and my nas
I am starting to think that this kind of computer architecture really needs to be minimal

the message of the server, (formerly flash gordon's magazine rack) got awful busy missing the industrial point of being a machine

and the nas tower, called wind farm, started to look like the chopped off five-disk-slot e-machine I pulled from the dumpster (ideal raid number)

wind farm is a tribute to wind and will have 5 fans & 5 disks & pine64+

  14. @Artanicus funny but not really because you are looking to attack the lipid bi-layer (w proteins inside) which is actually very tough
    - way to do that is which would be by lye () attacking the actual lipids
    - or the soap benefit from saponification which is the attraction of lipid side of
    - or, my hypothesis, actually attach it to fully-covalent mineral oil aka until you can get to soap, or coconut oil

    it's only 3 tunes:

    - ??
    - (I am not just a) pretty girl - maggie lindeman
    and
    - yael naim

first two toss you down the stairs
last one is purely feel-good, ironically it is from the early 2000s but never took off until tictok anti-boomers discovered it - truth is these are the first songs I like since pepper (butthole surfers from the 90s)

  16. #climatestrike I want to address the cancer issue as well, but I am being attacked as being anti-nature for attempting immediate mitigation (rather than annihilation) - I am doing this for the Canadian Liberal MP

  17. @DistroJunkie I think the discussion is like do hackers want to run up against - this hack'n ain't or , or even !!

  18. @kev thanks, looks good, but I think that is sticking w proprietary solutions ($$) I am setting up a static site on the ISP and might just test realtime, if that fails go with something else - I have been thinking but there are more open solutions out there (but not linuxcloud!!) I am thinking that if I hack a collaborative server (out of ), then the individuals could keep their material in something like leaving just text on my server

  19. Attempting to create a development env for jailed subsystems because my provider uses it - finally got it working in VMware (on win 10), but linking to the webserver seemed impossible even though I could ping - now downloading centos full distro (4gigs) because as soon as you run linuxcloud mods, you are isolated to their repos... which cannot even start a xserver properly, attempting to restore repos didnt work.. I used to get paid $$$ for this, maybe I can again

all capital has its roots in the crime of slaughtering/processing other people's cattle - legalism is a more recent criminal
