CW: Sex and Sexual Manipulation in Pagan Communities
Cross-posted from IG.
"All acts of love and pleasure are my ritual." Most Pagans are familiar with that line from the Charge of the Goddess. And it's a beautiful, sex-affirming line.
But sometimes, it gets abused. Some people use it to engage in unethical behavior. They use it to justify cheating on a partner they've promised monogamy to. Or they use it to manipulate someone into having a sexual experience they don't wish to have.
Let this image serve as a reminder that sacred sex is sex that honors the wants and needs of everyone involved, whatever those wants and needs may be.
