I watched the #SRFarena debate on the #eID law.
I am voting 'yes' because this e-ID is a secure, state-run, voluntary solution that meets the highest security standards thanks to #decentralisation, #openness, and #data|minimisation.
It seems that the opponents on tv were primarily concerned with themselves when they tried to portray this law negatively.

2 yrs ago, I was in the mood for new, bigger challenges. For 3 months, I had the privilege of doing whatever I wanted alongside #familywork. That was good, but then it was enough.
⚡️struck & we were allowed to take in a foster child. A wonderful, big task. And I was able to start my own biz & do what I'm pretty good at: #mediating. Between 👥 in- & outside orgs. Creating #understanding together. About #data & #metadata.
A 💚 🙏 to all with whom I have been able to go this far. You are excellent.

An exciting, challenging year has begun. Let us take #care of ourselves & our fellow human beings. Let's keep an eye on what unites us & look after opportunities & spaces that bring us #together. We can take these for granted less & less. Although they are crucial for the well-being of us all.

In 2018, freshly started as a civil servant, I was lucky enough to meet many inspiring peers at the 1st International Design in Government gathering in 🇬🇧.
The exchange beyond 🇨🇭 has helped me immensely in the years that followed. Sometimes already a "cheer up" from a colleague on the other side of the Atlantic was enough.
This autumn, the community will meet in 🇫🇮 on the topic of ‚Systems change and futures‘.

A five-month piece of iterative work with many #meteo #climate #data specialists at MeteoSwiss went live today: https://www.meteoswiss.admin.ch/services-and-publications/service/open-government-data.html
This marks the start of the public review of the weather and climate data that MeteoSwiss will provide as #OpenData to implement the 'Open by default' guideline of the new #EMBAG law.
Try out the sample data that are available on GitHub. Are they easy to use? And the metadata easy to understand? What is missing? What could be improved?
