Andreas Amsler (in English)

  1. I watched the debate on the law.

I am voting 'yes' because this e-ID is a secure, state-run, voluntary solution that meets the highest security standards thanks to , , and |minimisation.

It seems that the opponents on tv were primarily concerned with themselves when they tried to portray this law negatively.

  2. Looking forward to catching up with a few old acquaintances and meeting new members of the Swiss community at the ‚Haus der Kantone‘ in Berne today.

Digital Public Services Switzerland (digital-public-services-switze) is one of the organisations located at haus-der-kantone.ch/organisati, a site that is also home to many others.

  3. 2 yrs ago, I was in the mood for new, bigger challenges. For 3 months, I had the privilege of doing whatever I wanted alongside . That was good, but then it was enough.

⚡️struck & we were allowed to take in a foster child. A wonderful, big task. And I was able to start my own biz & do what I'm pretty good at: . Between 👥 in- & outside orgs. Creating together. About & .

A 💚 🙏 to all with whom I have been able to go this far. You are excellent.

  4. An exciting, challenging year has begun. Let us take of ourselves & our fellow human beings. Let's keep an eye on what unites us & look after opportunities & spaces that bring us . We can take these for granted less & less. Although they are crucial for the well-being of us all.

Let us be & determined in what we do & & self-critical in how we act. All the best for us in our new year. 💚 1/2

  5. How to work with the Iceberg model and beyond - a well prepared workshop by Diana Hidalgo, Andreea Ardelean & Jeffrey Allen with tangible exercise cases and sharing of experiences 💚

The case reminds me a lot to the main female character portrayed in the movie „I, Daniel Blake“

  6. Wonderful to be here in Helsinki with many peers. Kara Kane and Martin Jordan talk about "The Power of Community - collectively dealing with the long slog of government transformation" 💚

  7. The organisation team, and everyone involved have done an awesome job in preparing our International Design in Government Helsinki Conference 2024 ❤️

The programme is of an immense richness: international.gov-design.com/h

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we attendees can register for sessions, workshops ..

Where should I go, and share what I've learned afterwards with my local peers in Switzerland ?

  8. In 2018, freshly started as a civil servant, I was lucky enough to meet many inspiring peers at the 1st International Design in Government gathering in 🇬🇧.

The exchange beyond 🇨🇭 has helped me immensely in the years that followed. Sometimes already a "cheer up" from a colleague on the other side of the Atlantic was enough.

This autumn, the community will meet in 🇫🇮 on the topic of ‚Systems change and futures‘.

Cheer up!, dear friends 🔄 🌍, and see you soon.

  9. A five-month piece of iterative work with many specialists at MeteoSwiss went live today: meteoswiss.admin.ch/services-a

This marks the start of the public review of the weather and climate data that MeteoSwiss will provide as to implement the 'Open by default' guideline of the new law.

Try out the sample data that are available on GitHub. Are they easy to use? And the metadata easy to understand? What is missing? What could be improved?

  10. Clear view and ☀️ ! I have the privilege of supporting the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss in the conception, implementation and introduction of : meteoswiss.admin.ch/about-us/r

Looking forward to many good encounters with exciting people.

  11. The National Council and the Council of States adopted the .

The 'Federal Act on the Use of Electronic Means for the Performance of Official Duties' (parlament.ch/centers/eparl/cur) regulates:

What does ist mean in concrete terms for the units of the federal, cantonal and municipal administrations?

    Let’s talk: fogdt.ch/about
