I got a new "ti-ga-" (body belt) for my #sanshin . It's a traditional #Minsah textile from #yaeyama , handwoven on Ishigaki. An instrument that looks better also plays better!

Stepped out for some fresh air before our set last night and just around the corner happened upon this Eisa Dance welcoming the return of the spirits of the dead during the summer ghost festival period. Koza Fest 2023, Okinawa. Higashi Youth Association. 出番前会場のそば散歩に出かけたら、生エイサーの経験できた。嬉しかった。舞台技術も興味深々。東青年会、お疲れ様です！ありがとう〜🙇‍♂️
