A Snowy #Egret at the St Augustine Alligator Farm and #Zoological #Park; a busy place for nesting #waterfowl like the #SnowyEgret since the many alligators in the waters below keep the #tree-top nests of the #birds safe from other predators.
This egret is in its high breeding #plumage and seems to be trying to attract a mate.

At the St Augustine Alligator Farm and #Zoological #Park is host to many #waterfowl species during nesting season, because the #birds are attracted to the protection against predators created by the alligators.
The alligators rarely bother the birds, either, as this Snowy #Egret in the same water as the gators, demonstrates the point.
