@joshmoore Among the principles, I note especially "Research software should adhere to #openScience standards as much as possible." And in the recommendations, "#Funding agencies should explicitly address the discrepancy between research software as an outcome of temporary (project) funding and the continued need for research software as a research instrument after the project has ended."
Good that #WellcomeTrust, #UKRI, #ANR and #DPG are there (among others). -
#Introduction cont... I'm a #WellcomeTrust and #RoyalSociety research fellow and Assoc Prof at the #UniversityOfExeter in #Cornwall. This means I am v lucky to live near the beach in a beautiful part of the UK (sorry in advance for the photos 😉 ).
