The Met announce no charges against any of the republicans arrested at the coronation, accept that the items that were so dangerous were in fact for what the demonstrators said they were for, and that there was no communication between the police liaising with them beforehand and the police on the ground. ie the Met are some proportion of incompetant, authoritarian, and trying to spin out of a hole. -
