The 12-string kobza-vihuela is influenced by the older #vihuela as well as the traditional #ukrainian folk instruments called #kobza , but it is its own thing...a child from interesting parents but very much its own creature. My dad would have loved it so I am blaming this purchase on him.
(And yes, every stringed instrument I get will one-day be used in my cover of #tism s Old Man River.)
