Mutating Meltdown “Fantasy” EP (M’Lady’s Records, 2008)
TGIF! Mutating Meltdown was Erin Budd & Veronica Ortuño’s band after Finally Punk. They were from Austin, TX. Organ, bass & drums dancey post-punk. So good! Put out on my old bandmate’s now defunct label. I can hear the influence of New Bloods drummer Adee Roberson on Veronica’s drumming on “Fantasy.” Finally Punk and New Bloods toured together and we adored each other.
