I recently posted about the pioneering ElectroClash releases by TISM, Asian Dub Foundation, Atari Teenage Riot and Le Tigre. Grecco are definitely in that mode, with glitchy industrial beats and vocals that alternate between growling and declaiming, as the 2 vocalists pass the mic.

TISM were, in many ways, pioneers of ElectroClash music. Making electronic punk at a time when punks and ravers lived in totally different cultural worlds, which only began to talk to each other in the mid-late 1990s.

Other notable ElectroClash pioneers who released debut albums in 1995 were Asian Dub Foundation (Facts and Fictions) and Atari Teenage Riot (Delete Yourself!). Honorable mention: Le Tigre, whose self-titled debut came out in 1999.

All worth checking out.
