Tillicum
1970 Canada 7” singleOh man!
What a cool find from today.Syrinx were a rad Canadian electronic act who were only active for two years, two albums, and THIS single.
It was “Tillicum” that gained them attention, as it was used as the theme song for the CTV documentary series Here Come The Seventies. It was a bit of a hit, reaching #38 on the Canadian charts in 1971.
As far as the show goes, its opening sequence (while “Tillicum” plays) featured a butt naked girl, ass out, walking into the ocean, while other scenes were superimposed over her.
I’m pretty sure it’s on YouTube, and if it is, I’ll post it in the comments for you to watch.
Song wise, it’s a cool, sub-2 minute little electronic piece. A bit of an earworm.

Body decided to break this week, for absolutely no reason. I suddenly couldn't stand for very long and couldn't lie down without a ton of pain, either.
Labs all seem normal, so I guess it's time for another set of MRIs (for which I'm overdue, anyway).
I *know* that this is how things go with spine abnormalities, but still...
