Okay, next hurdle in my #linux #surfacepro7 journey! I've successfully got Mint on a USB and have managed to boot into it manually. (see "Make this surface start from a USB drive" here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/boot-surface-from-a-usb-device-fe7a7323-8d1d-823d-be17-9aec89c4f9f5
I've also successfully booted into UEFI and changed the boot order so "USB Storage" is on top.
Per Step 4 in these instructions: https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/wiki/Installation-and-Setup) I've set secure boot to allow non-MS signatures ("Microsoft & 3rd party CA").
But when I restart, Windows boots up. :(

Apparently #Fallout3 from #GOG should work with an XBox 360 controller. It doesn't. Got a new cable for it but can't get it to recognise it. There seem to be some #Steam instructions, but I didn't get it on Steam... #RetroGaming #Windows10 #SurfacePro7
